Personally, I sit on the fence as to online literature. On the one hand, this rising reading mode transport people into a fantastic literary world, which is much superior to the shallow video games or superficial TV dramas. On the other hand, if not guided properly, netizens, particularly young readers lacking a strong moral sense, might accidentally download obscene or violent content, which might lead them astray.
Therefore, to ensure the quality of online literature, it is ripe time that online platforms such as Amazon closely scrutinized the content of the material. Once vulgar or violent words are spotted, the novel should be instantly removed or deleted from the resource pool. Also, experienced readers can recommend special picks to green hands so that they can make a better distinction between good and bad.
