In my opinion, it’s a good idea to do so, for it can not only help the smokers to smoke less, and it can also do good to other customers’ health. Since you had given up selling cigarettes, the customers don’t like smoking are sure to support you. In addition, smoke in the shopping centre may cause fire, which is dangerous to both your possessions and the safe of the customers. In a word, the non-smoking supermarket will not effect your business. To the contrary, it will help you attract more customers who want to keep health.

I am deep impressed by the great changes that have taken the place in the school over the past three years. On May 12, 2008, a sever earthquake destroyed almost nothing in the school, left badly-damaged buildings. It is now, however, taking a new look. Tall buildings have been put up, included laboratory buildings and a library. There was also a newly-built standard playground. In the new environment, teachers and students are living happily or working hard. It is really amazing if the once-ruined place has now turned into a beautiful school, full of life. Obviously, without the help of the whole society, there will be no new school today.

I will share with you a story happened a few days ago. One of my classmate bought a bag of snacks from a food store. A few roommates were then invited to enjoy snacks. Unluckily, all of them got poisoned and had stomachaches with our faces pale. They are quickly sent to a nearby hospital. Doctors examined them but gave them some medicine. They were out of danger soon before taking the medicine. This accident should make us to realize the seriousness of the food safety problem. I strong suggest that the whole society pays more attention to food safety.

Last year I spent my the first Thanksgiving Day in my own house. I have never cooked Thanksgiving dinner before, so I wanted to be special. I spent what seemed like forever cooking, and to my surprised it came out looking perfectly! Then I realized that I had forgotten my soft drinks at the store but I ran out to get them away before the guests arrived. I was away for no more than 15 minute. When I returned back, I found my turkey on the floor surrounding by a greedy cat and a dog with turkey bits in their mouths.

There are several ways improve our English writing skills, such as keeping a diary, learning any good writings by heart, doing a lot of reading, etc. As for me, I prefer keeping a diary. Comparing with other forms of writing, keeping a diary is easy and take less time. In addition, they can help us form the habit of thinking in English. There was a time when Zhang Yi and I was good friends, but now we are like stranger. On his first day in our class two years ago, he had no one to talk. Dear Editor,
I used to be a happy little girl and now I’m shy and say a few words. When I was eleven, I lost one of the front teeth and it replaced by a false one. No one knows about it except two of my friend.
