I have learned from WWW.xinhua.com that you are looking for host families in Xinhua Middle School for the Canadian students, so I'm writing to request the valuable chance to be one of them.

I think I am qualified to meet the requirements. For one thing, we have a large and clean house, which lies near our school. For another, I'm good at English and my parents are both English teachers, so I'm sure we won't have any difficulty communicating with the Canadian students. Besides, we received two American students last summer and we did have a good time. I would greatly appreciate it if I could have the chance to make friends with them.
