It rained heavily in the western part of our country ，where dry weather had lasted for months 。but what is surprising is that instead of giving relief from the drought ，the rainfall brought about serious flood ，which destroyed the farmland and houses 。people there have come to realize how important trees are to their living environment 。they regret cutting down a ；large number of trees for money 。now they are determined cover the hills with green trees ，hoping to prevent disasters of this kind from happening again。
