Now, a programme called “Running for the Asian Games", is going on in our school, lasting from May l to May 31. The programme is to improve the students' health, and welcome the coming 2010 Asian Games. The opening ceremony was held on May 1, when all the students ran together around the school. During the one-month programme, the students are encouraged to go running every day, boys for 2 kilometers while girls for l.5 kilometers. The organizers wish that by the end of the programme, the total running distance of all the students in each class will reach 2000 kilometers, equal to the distance from Guangzhou to Beijing.
