Last winter vacation，some of my classmates decide to travel with their friends，while I chose to take part-time job to gain experience and earn some money．I learned from my teacher that a nearby company was looking after students with good handwriting to write addresses on envelope．The pay were 10 cents per envelope．I headed for the company，feeling sure I would easy finish 300 envelopes in five hours and to earn the money．At fact, I only finished 200．Now, I fully understand how hard is to earn money．Getting out of the classroom is indeed necessary for we all．

As is known to all that our students of today have to fix our attention on our lessons, so we know few of society．A holiday is the best time and the best chance to make up for that．Take a part-time job is a good form of social practice．That we have learned in books and in class can’t have same important effect on us as what we have learned through personal practice．In social practice, we can surely make a progress in both knowledge or practical ability．Beside, when we take a part-time job, we may got paid more or less to help our family．Thus, I will say a senior school student should take a part-time job in his/her holiday, if possible．
