Thanksgiving Day was near. The first grade teacher gave her class a fun assignment --- to draw a picture of__21__for which they were thankful.

Elizabeth lived on the other side of a valley. One winter there was a very big flood, and a lot of houses down below Elizabeth’s were washed away.
