Recently, our class had a discussion about whether middle school students should listen to MP3 player.

40% of them agree with the idea, saying that as a middle school student, it is fashionable to do so. Besides, you can relax while listening to the music. Thirdly, with the help of MP3 player, we can listen to English and improve our English level. Others, however, hold the opposite idea. Firstly, it has a bad effect on our studies as it takes time. What’s more, listening too much does harm to the hearing. Thirdly, it is a waste of money to buy an MP3 player.

In my opinion, we should make good use of an MP3 player and limit the time for listening if we do want to use it.
