5月1日, 星期三, 晴.

时隔多年, 与友人游西湖, 发现西湖巨变。划船时看见西湖水比以前清了，甚至有些地方还能看见湖底下的水草。花多了，树高了，道路也清洁了。

感想：由于国家重视治理污染，人们爱护名胜古迹，只要我们下决心，西湖会更好，会吸引更多的中外游客。

May1st  Wednesday   Sunny Today some of my old friends and I went to the West Lake for an outing. It had been several years since we went there last time. Great changes have taken place there. Boating on the lake we found the water much cleaner than before. In some places we could even see grass growing on the bottom of the lake. The roads are cleaner. We also found more flowers and tall trees. Today, people take more care of places of interest because our country has started to prevent pollution. So, I think if we are determined to keep this up, the West Lake will become even better one day. Certainly more and more Chinese and foreign visitors will go there.
