There are so many people in need around us. The homeless are among them. They need our help. What
can we do to help them?
     ★ Understand who the homeless are-learn about the different causes of homelessness.
     ★ Don't look down on the homeless-give the homeless the same courtesy (礼貌). Treat them as your
friends.
     ★ Bring food to the homeless-when you pass by someone who asks for something, offer him or her
something to eat. If you have lunch, you can pack a little extra. If you eat at a restaurant, you can order
something to take with you when you leave.
     ★ Give money to the homeless-one of the most direct ways to help them is to give money.
     ★ Give clothes to the homeless-if there are some clothes that you no longer wear and they are in good
shape, collect them together and donate (捐赠) them to organizations that can help the homeless.
