Fukuhara Ai (福原爱) is a table tennis player in Japan. She was born on November 1st,1988 and started playing table tennis at the age of three. At that time,she was too small to see the table top (桌面) .She had to stand on boxes to play table tennis. At the age of ten,she became a professional (职业的) table tennis player in Japan. One year later,she joined Japanese national table tennis team and was the youngest member in the team.
In 2004,Fukuhara Ai took part in the Athens Olympics (雅典奥运会) .It was her first time to take part in the Olympics. She was the youngest player in the Japanese team and got the 16th place.
Fukuhara Ai has learned to play table tennis in China for years. She joined Liaoning table tennis team in 2005 and then she became a member of Guangdong table tennis team in March,2006.
In 2008 and 2012,Fukuhara Ai took part in the Beijing Olympics and the London Olympics. She is very popular (受欢迎的) in Japan and in China now.
