     "Beijing, Toronto and Paris are the most important cities bidding for the Olympic Games of 2008," said
Richard W. Pound, the IOC's first vice president (副主席).
     "The host city of the Olympic Games of 2008 will be decided at the IOC meeting in Moscow in 2001.

     The time of a baby is born can decide what jobs they will work on in later lives, a new study has
suggested.  
     Being born in a certain month seems to show the statistical (统计学的) likelihood (可能性) of
what job a person will end up with.    
     Researchers have found that the month in which babies are born could also affect everything from 
intelligence (智力) to length (长度)of life.    
     A child born in December is more likely (很可能的) to become a dentist while someone whose
