It may be spread by touching things that a SARS patient has touched. Doctors isolate(隔离治疗) people ill with SARS, and they have to quarantine(隔离) those who are close to SARS patients. Those who travel to or from a SARS city and seem to have any cases of SARS should be quarantined. They should not go to work, school or any other public place. Quarantine helps prevent SARS from spreading.
