In the US, parents usually hold school parties for the children at school. Parents need three basic(基本的) things for a school party-----games, snacks and gifts.

Who's building the new China? It's not the factory owners or the business men and women of China. It's someone else. They may not make as much money as some people in cities, but they are good honest people just trying to survive this game of life. These workers are very important and necessary to China’s economic (经济) development and have become an important force for the change of Chinese society. They are building the new China, so we should help them.

Each country has many kind people who volunteer to take care of others. For example, some high school and university students in the US often spend many hours as volunteers in hospital or old people’s homes. They read books for the people or they just visit them and play games with them or listen to their problems.
