Things are going great in Cannes (戛纳), France. I have an exciting experience here. I have only been here at the film festival for two days, but I have already seen four films. When the films are not on, I like to go to watch the fashionable people on the beach. Everywhere you look, there are famous film stars and directors. This is only a scene from the first episode(集) of CCTV’s new documentary, A Bite of China 2(舌尖上的中国2), which appeared on April 18, 2014. But they are enough reasons for viewers to spend an hour every Friday until June 6 enjoying in front of their television sets. As always, the people are the most interesting part. A Bite of China 2 shows a greater dream—through homemade food, it tells the joys andsorrowsof common Chinese in changing times, according to director Chen Xiaoqing of the documentary series(系列).

“I was moved by the people in each simple story,” said Li Weifang, 17, of Beijing No 3 High School. “Their work helps enrich(丰富) China’s food culture. ”
