If you love reading books, you must know about the book The Little Prince《小王子》. It’s a famous novel written by a French writer. As one of the best-selling books in history, it has been sold as many as 200 million copies in 253 languages and dialects(方言). Primary and junior high school students will get new versions (版本) of textbooks this autumn term.

The biggest changes will happen in Chinese textbooks. The textbooks teach more traditional Chinese culture. For example, ideas on the hundred schools of thought (诸子百家) will be introduced to students. The percentage of traditional culture in the new textbooks will be up to 30 percent for primary school students and 40 percent for junior high school students.
