Nobody likes waking up in the morning to the sound of alarms（闹钟），but what about the smell of bread and coffee？TheSensorwake appeared at a show in Las Vegas recently．A 19-year-old boy called Guillaume Rolland came up with the idea．He is an engineering student in France．The Sensorwake was successfully raised US$200，000last year，and now he is taking pre-orders that will be sent in the first half of 2016．

But does the Sensorwake work as well as the alarms to wake you up？Rolland says that the Sensorwake is just as good，with the testing showing his alarm wakes 99percent of people in 2minutes．
However，a study at Brown University in 2004showed that scents didn't work as well as the alarms at waking sleepers．The researchers found that the alarms of sound were more useful at waking the sleepers．
Now，for extra-heavy sleepers or those with stuffed（堵塞的） noses who can't smell the scent well，the Sensorwake prepares a backup（备份的） alarm that will work if the scent hasn't woken them up within 3minutes．
