Last weekend I went camping with my dad and my brother, Jim. We took a tent, sleeping bags, flashlights, water and food. We reached the campsite (营地）on Saturday afternoon. There was enough room to build a campfire. Jim and I collected some dry leaves, small sticks and Dad started a campfire. Then we cooked potatoes and cabbages for our supper and had some apple cakes. Honey(蜂蜜）from African(非洲）forest is very delicious.

Most people and many animals like eating it. However, the only way for them to get that honey is to find a wild bees’ nest(蜂巢）and take honey from it. Often, these nests are high up in trees, and it is difficult to find them. But in parts of Africa, people and animals have a strange helper — a little bird called a honey helper.

Four ways to have a good school life

Your schooldays should be some of the best and happiest days of your life. How can you get the most from them, and be sure you do not waste (浪费) this great chance to learn?

Be active(积极的) at school Don’t say things are difficult or boring. Take interest in school life and your school subjects. Join lots of activities. Put up your hands quickly in class. Since May 1, 2015, Beijing started to allow blind people to take guide dogs (导盲犬) onto the subway(地铁). How much do you know about guide dogs? What can they do to help blind people?
