Today’s the day of a big test at school, and you feel awful. Your stomach hurts and you have a headache. Some people might feel their hearts beating quickly while they are waiting for the test paper. A student with really strong test anxiety may even feel like he or she might be sick or throw up（呕吐）.

Sound familiar? You’ll find that just about all people—adults and others—have some anxiety before a test. According to studies, proper anxiety can be helpful, keeping you sharp and focused and even helping you get good grades. But when you have so much anxiety or feel so sick that you can’t do well in your studies or tests, that’s bad for your studies or your body health.

Of course, if you don’t study for the test, you might be worried. That kind of anxiety isn’t easy to deal with because even if you find a way to calm down, you still might not know what to do with it. When you are preparing for a test and you get a handle on your test, you will be able to let your knowledge work well and get good grades.

Lisa never had the chance to know her father. He and her mother divorced when she was just a young child. Even though he didn’t move far, he never came to visit his children.

Dragons are not real animals, but look like a combination (组合体) of many animals such as snakes, fish and deer. They have two horns (角) and a long moustache (胡子). There are some famous “dragons” who have done excellent things, for example, Deng Xiaoping, the famous businessman, Li Jiacheng and the movie star Zhao Wei. They are all successful.

There are also some traditional festivals about dragons in China, such as Dragon Head Raising Day and the Dragon Boat Festival. We have different kinds of activities to celebrate them. These two festivals come every year, but the Year of the Dragon comes every twelve years.

The dragon is very important in Chinese culture. As the “descendants of the dragon”， it is necessary for us to know the views on dragons in our culture. It can help us understand why our parents always want us to be “dragons”.

It could be an ordinary hotel room like any other one in the small town of Zwolle in the northeast of the Netherlands. Here, just like elsewhere, you can find a bed, mini-bar, bathrobes (浴衣) and two pairs of slippers. An exception, however, is the temperature, that reaches only a few degrees above zero in the room. Welcome to the first Dutch ice hotel!

“If you want to take a shower before you go to bed, make sure to dry your hair, or they can get frozen. Do not drink too much alcohol and do not eat any heavy food. Make sure to change into dry and warm clothes,” says hotel manger Annet van Limburg to the visitors.

There are three rooms in the hotel, the construction (建造) of which lasted ten days. Unlike similar projects, such as those in Canada or Sweden, the hotel is built inside a large freezer warehouse (仓库), not in the nature. The rooms, which are made of the giant block of ice, have a great double bed, colored with pink, green and blue light from lamps. And the ice walls are one meter thick.

The temperature in the room is between six to eight degrees Celsius. “If you are healthy, it is not dangerous,” says Annet van Limburg.
