Overhead bridges are found in some parts of Anyue, especially in places traffic is heavy and crossing the road is very .

The purpose of these overhead bridges is to enable pedestrians(行人) to road safely. Overhead bridges are used in very much the same way zebra crossings. They are more efficient(有效的) although less convenient people have to climb up a long flight of steps. This is inconvenient especially to old people. When pedestrians are a zebra crossing, traffic is held up. This is the government has built some overhead bridges to help pedestrians and traffic moving the same time.

The government of Anyue has lots of money in building these bridges. For their own safety, pedestrians be encouraged to use them instead of their lives by running across the road. Old people, however, may find a little difficult to climb up and down the steps, but it is still safer than walking across the road with all the danger of moving traffic.

Overhead bridges serve a very useful purpose. Pedestrians, both old and young, should form a of using them, This will prevent unnecessary accidents and loss of life.

Once upon a time, there were two doors in a house. One was a beautiful living room door, and the other was just a normal bathroom door.

There were some naughty children in the house, and they always kicked(踢) the door. The living room door was always very angry about it and hated the children. The bathroom door didn’t care too much when the children kicked him. Instead, he tried to comfort the living room door. He said, “Don’t worry. It’s normal. They’re children, and they’ll grow up soon. Before long, things will be better.”

One day, the living door finally lost his temper(发脾气). A child kicked him, and he broke at once. The owner of the house got very angry and told the children to be careful next time. This made the living door happy. However, the owner didn’t repair him; he threw him into a landfill(垃圾堆) instead. At the same time, the bathroom door took the place of the living room door.
