Firstly, what about watching English films and listening to English songs? They are great ways to learn English. Guess the meaning of the new words while watching and listening.
Secondly, why not try to have conversations with a foreign teacher? You’d better begin with a greeting or a question. Smile and don’t be shy. You can talk with a foreign teacher about some interesting things.
Thirdly, writing the new words on a piece of paper is also a good way. You can remember them by repeating them as much as you can.
