I had a wonderful trip to Guilin with my parents this summer holiday. It is a small city in the northeast of Guangxi - It is more than 2,000 years old and the whole city is about 27,800 square kilometers. There are green mountains,clear waters,unique caves and beautiful stones there. The most famous tourist attractions are Elephant Trunk Hill,Li River,Reed

Flute Cave and Seven-Star Park. Elephant Trunk Hill is the symbol of the city. It is really a fantastic hill. It looks like a huge elephant drinking water by the Li River！

Ask your parents to bring you to Guilin next time. You can go there by air,by train or by bus and get around on free buses in the city. If you go,I can go with you. I would like to visit it again!I am sure we will have a great time there.

When he returned home,Darwin was warmly greeted by his families and many friends.

In 1842,Darwin went to live in Kent,where he continued his studies of the changes in nature. Darwin understood that plants and animals are not always the same,and that they really change.

By 1859，Darwin had finished his famous book The Origin of Species. It made a great hit in the world of science. He was opposed (反对）by the church and even by some scientists. But later,more and more scientists agreed with him.

Darwin continued his studies in science until he died in 1882.
