It was Sunday, April 4. Peter and I didn't go to school. We went to a shop and bought a new kite and a big ball of string. It was very windy so we flew our kite in the park. The wind blew hard and our kite flew very high. Suddenly the string broke. We both tried to get the string, but the wind carried the kite far away. We watched it for a long time till it flew out of sight.
