A1. Sandy's unde and aunt are going to Sandy's home for dinner. Her unde is drivingand her aunt is colling Sandy. Read about what happens to them on the way.

Aunt: Hi,Sandy. This is Aunt Joan. We're on the way. We'll get to your home in about 20 minutes.

Aunt: Sandy,there's a yellow car behind us. The driver is a young man. When we turn left,the yellow car turns left. When we turn right,the yellow car turns right. When we stop at the traffic lights,the yellow car stops behind us. What do you think that young man is going to do? Is he going to rob us? We'd better drive to the police station.

Sandy's aunt is so afraid that she forgets to hang up the phone. They stop at the police station.

A1. Daniel wants to find some information about the Guinness World Records. He finds this information on theGuinness World Records website. Read it with him.

On 10November 1951,a man called Sir Hugh Beaver was talking with his friends. "Which is the fastest bird in Europe?" they asked. They could not agree on the answer. That evening,Sir Beaver and his friends looked for the answer in many books,but they could not find it.

Sir Beaver thought that there must be many other questions like this,but there was no way to find the answer. He realized that a book with answers like this may be a good idea. He was right!

The first Guinness Book of Records was published on 27August 1955 and was very popular.

All over the world people are very interested in the Guinness World Records. Many people try to set new records. Suresh Joachim from Canada has set over 60 world records. He sets new world records to raise money for poor children.

The two boys often (feel) hungry after school,but they (feel) tired when they came back yesterday.
