Hi,my name is Polly. I have a pet tortoise. His name is Speedy. I think that this name is funny because Speedy walks very slowly—he is not speedy (快速的) at all!I chose to buy a tortoise after I read a book about tortoises. Speedy likes being in the sun. When it is sunny outside,I play with Speedy in the garden. However,when winter comes,Speedy goes to sleep for the whole of winter.
This is called hibernation (冬眠) .He really hates cold weather.
