  A Regretful Thing

In the past three years, the life in the middle school impressed me a lot. Many stories happened. The following is one of them.

Xiao Ming  was one of my good friends.  One day,a little thing caused a fierce quarrel  between us.  From then on,we  didn’t  talk  to each other. As time went on,I gradually forgot my anger in  the  quarrel.  All  I remembered was the happy time we had spent together. I hoped to make up our friendship, but was afraid of losing face at the same time. I hesitated, and finally failed to do that. Not until he moved to another city with his parents, did I know that I had lost my friend forever.

The lesson I learnt from it is that if you realize your mistakes, you should correct them at once,or you may leave yourself lasting regrets.
