My name is Li Jie. I have been learning English for nearly three years. I find it difficult to learn a second language well,although I like it. Every day I spend lots of time on new words and texts. I can re?member most of them. But I haven't made much progress yet.

The biggest problem is my spoken English. I'm not outgoing and I'm afraid to speak English in class. I am often too nervous to think of the words I need,so I just hide behind my textbooks and never put up my hand. In my free time,1hardly ever talk with my classmates in English.

I'm a very slow reader. While reading,I try to translate every word into Chinese. And I will feel worried when I meet any word I don't know. I have to stop to look it up.

I find it's easy to remember grammar rules. However,I always make a lot of mistakes in writ?ing. How can I use the rules correctly?
