Day One

I've had an OK day today. I got up at 12 midday, ate cookie crisp for breakfast. Mum went out to not-far-away Tesco (乐购) during the afternoon. I wasn't on my own for too long though. Mum only bought food for lunch. At about 6:30, I had a microwaveable pizza and crinkle chips. I went upstairs, finished off my English homework. I listened to Avril Lavigne and Dido for a while, came back downstairs at about 7:15 and came onto the Internet.

Day Two

I woke up at 10:45. Mum and I went into town. After that, we phoned mum's friend and her daughter (my friend) to ask if we could come round, as we hadn't seen each other for months! We stayed at our friend's house for an hour and a half --- during that time my friend and I surfed the Internet. After that we went to Tesco to get dinner ---- microwave Indian meal for three (mum, dad,me).

Day Three

I woke up at 2 pm, and so did my mum. We went to Tesco at 3:30 p. m. ---- where mum kept meeting her friends, and we chatted for 2 hours! When we got home, it was already time for dinner(sausage, egg and chips). Afterwards, I did more homework until 9 p. m. ---- and I'm not joking!

Sometimes, laughter can help us discover the beauty of life. Whether it's caused by joy or embarrassment, it's an indispensable(不可或缺的) part of life.

Just now, an old photo reminded me of an unforgettable experience. When I was twelve years old, my family flew to America to go on a trip. The fantastic places of interest left me good memories. However, on the last day of the journey, I made a funny mistake.

That evening, my mother asked me to buy some food by myself. I ran to the supermarket happily. After a while, I put a few things, including a bag of bone-like biscuits, into the shopping basket that I had brought from home.

When I came back to the hotel, I asked my mom if she took pride in me. Suddenly, she started laughing loudly. I had no idea what had made her laugh so much. A few minutes later, she explained to me that the bag of biscuits was dog food. She looked at me and pointed at the English words on the bag, laughing again. At that moment, I felt so awkward(尴尬的) that my face turned red right off. And I realized that I could never be too careful.

As time goes by, I've forgotten a number of things, but this memory is still clear. Life won't be colorful unless we can find beauty in little things like this. Don't you think so?
