There have been great changes in my hometown over the years.

My hometown used to be a quiet small town. The roads were narrow and dirty. There was rubbish everywhere. People lived in small old houses. People travelled around on foot or by bike.

Later the government realized the problem(s) and actively took action to improve the situation. Now the streets are wide and clean, with many green trees on both sides. People travel around by bus or taxi. Many families even have their own cars.

I think my hometown will become more and more beautiful in the future. I hope you can visit it some day.
