While some people stick to only one kind of movie, I like to watch different kinds depending on how I feel that day.

When I'm down or tired, I prefer movies that can cheer 1(my) up. Comedies like Men in Black or cartoons like Kung Fu Panda have 2(fun) dialogs and usually have a happy 3(end). The characters may not be perfect, but they try their best to solve their problems. After 4(watch) them, the problems suddenly seem less serious and I feel much 5(good) again. Laughing for two hours is a good way to relax!

I don't watch dramas or 6(documentary) when I'm sad or tired. Dramas like Titanic make me feel even sadder. Documentaries like March of the Penguins which provide plenty of information about a certain subject can be interesting, but when I' m tired I don't want 7(think) too much. I don't mind action movies like Spider-Man when I'm too tired to think. I can just shut off my brain, 8(sat) back and enjoy watching an exciting superhero who always9(save) the world just in time.

Once in a while, I like to watch movies that are scary: They can be fun, but I'm too scared to watch them alone. I always bring .a friend who isn't afraid of these kinds of movies, and it 10(feel) so scary anymore.

after在……

want to do想要做某事,to do不定式作want的宾语,故填to think

根据“They can be fun, but I'm too scared to watch them alone.”

We usually go to see a doctor when we are ill. Doctors may give us some medicine, and the medicine often (A) m us feel better.

But sometimes the doctor’s medicine doesn't (B) . This happened to one man Thomas Smith. He was ill in hospital, but he wasn't getting well. He saw funny films. He wrote his story in his book. He said laughing was very useful. (D) It was the best "medicine".

Another man, Simon Beck, was also ill, and he had a serious pain in his back. The doctor couldn't stop it, so the man began to "picture" his pain. In his head he “drew” a picture of a dog. He imagined it to be a real dog. And it was hurting him. Then the man talked softly to the dog. He put his hand on the dog’s head and talked with it. After one year, his pain went away!
