If they do not, the driver of the speeding car may have an accident and hurt other people. When the police see a person trying to break into a house, they will stop and question the person. If they do not, the person may steal(偷) things from the house.

   Some police officers patrol (巡逻) in cars or on motorbikes. Some patrol on foot, especially in parks or busy streets. Others even use boats. Most of them have received special training to do with sudden or special accidents.

   With the police, our lives can keep peaceful and safe.
