A man sat at an underground station in Washington, D.C., and started to play the violin. It was a cold day in January. He played six Bach(巴赫)pieces for about 45 minutes. It was rush hour and thousands of people went through the station, most of them on their way to work.
Three minutes went by and the first person, a middle-aged man, noticed there was a musician playing. He slowed down and stopped for a few seconds and then hurried up to meet his schedule.
After a minute, the violinist received his first dollar tip: a young woman threw the money in the box and continued to walk. Then another few minutes went by and someone stood against the wall to listen to him, but the young man looked at his watch and started to walk again. Clearly he was late for work.
During the musician's performance, only six people stopped and stayed for a while, twenty gave him money but continued to walk. When he finished playing, no one applauded(鼓掌). No one knew the violinist was Joshua Bell, one of the best musicians in the world.
This is a real story. Joshua Bell playing in the underground station was organized by The Washington Post(《华盛顿邮报》)as part of a social experiment. One of the conclusions from this experiment could be: If we do not have a moment to stop and listen to one of the best musicians in the world playing the best music, how many other things are we missing?

【题目】B. Choose the best answer and complete the passage (选择最恰当的选项完成短文.

Technology provides more than a way of communication. However, it is becoming the only way to communicate for our teens. It has made face-to-face interaction 1 often and has made a negative①effect on the social abilities of the teens.
These days we communicate on websites like Facebook, but I wonder why we have no in-person friendships. I see teens texting②2. They text while talking to someone else, at the dinner table, in the car and at the movies. This tiny piece of plastic is distracting③ teens from the real world.
As you can see, I am very much 3 technology but there are ways that helps. It helps many people stay in touch with friends that might have moved away. In my life, I will have to move from my friends from time to time. With the help of Wechat, it can be easy to 4them and to ask if they would like to do something in person. Staying in touch can be done in person as much as over technology.
Some people have 5 making new friends and the Internet provides ways to meet new people through chat rooms. I believe relationships built online can be a little eccentric④. One study suggests that online relationships simply take longer to develop than those face-to-face.
Online relationships can be 6 because you never know who's on the other side of the chat. You can become more open over the Internet if you don't have a chance to meet others in real life. Meeting people online can give you confidence, but I believe it also tears you down. Online relationships will either build you up or break you down. Most importantly, don't let keyboards be the key to your heart.
(1)A.too B.very C.less D.more
(2)A.here B.there C.somewhere D.everywhere
(3)A.for B.against C.with D.behind
(4)A.reach B.lose C.win D.control
(5)A.fun B.time C.trouble D.trust
(6)A.convenient B.dangerous C.important D.necessary

Two weeks ago when I did some running in the park. I fell and hurt my knee quite badly. A few moments later, an old woman helped me to stand up. Then she waited until my father came. I didn't know her but she helped me.

On my fifteenth birthday. I stood in line to buy coffee in a coffee shop and I noticed that a man looked very tired. I decided to buy a cup of coffee for him. When I gave him the coffee, I was very happy to see his smiling faces.

I always try to help other people. For example, I talk to my friends when they are lonely. I make a joke at school when my classmates look bored. Last week I gave away my old clothes to the poor.
