4．AMPAS，the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences （美国电影艺术和科学学院），presents the Oscars each year．About 6，000people who work in the movie industry belong to the organization．It was established in 1927to support the film industry．The Academy began presenting awards（颁发奖项） in 1929．At that time，films were just starting to have sound．
