多义词的转义现象
英语中一词多义是常见现象，很多词的多种词义之间有一定联系。例如age—词的词义有“年龄、寿命、时代、阶段”等，这些词义相互之间有联系，即都有“时间”的概念。但还有一些词的词义之间完全没有联系，我们可以称其为转义词，或视为两个词义不同的同形异义词。例如agree—词在“I agree with you.”中是“同意”的意思，而在“This kind of I food doesn’t agree with him. ”一句中则是“适合”的意思，与前一句的词义差别很大。我们学过的词中有很多这样的词，应在学习中引起注意。下列每组两个句子画线词的词义差别很大，你能写出它们各自的词义吗？
