1. As we all know,the environmental problems are getting more and more serious. In my hometown,the environment is not good. The sky is usually gray because of the smog and I miss the blue sky very much.
I still remember the experience that I had last year. I went on a trip with my friends last autumn. We ate and drank happily during the trip. And we also played games with the grass around us. When we was about to go back,the place where we stayed was full of rubbish,such as food packages and bottles. Nobody cared about it. Just then a little boy came up and picked up the rubbish in silence. We were shocked and felt ashamed. Then we followed his example and cleaned up the place. The little boy was an inspiration to us all and we thanked him very much. From then on,we decided to learn from him and spread his love for the environment wherever we go.
As students,I think we must do something to protect the environment. First,we should call on people around us to use cloth bags instead of plastic bags when shopping. Second,we had better reuse the old textbooks as possible as we can. Third,we should never forget to turn off the lights when we leave the classrooms. In a word,we must try our best to protect our environment. If everyone makes effort,I believe we can make the world a better place to live in.
