　　It is the last lesson before the holidays. The students are very happy. Their English teacher is very happy too. Their teacher plays some nice games with them. He sings some nice songs with them and then he goes to the blackboard and writes "SMILES" on it. " This is one of the longest words in English, " he says to the class. All the students laugh, and then one girl stands up and says, " Why is it one of the longest words in English? " The teacher says nothing for a few seconds. Then he smiles and says, " Because there's a mile between the first letter and the last."

University. We were surprised when he left University to set up his own company "Microsoft" and make
his own software. But he was the clever one! He is very good at writing computer languages and almost
all computers now use Microsoft software. The program "Word" is used from Britain to China!
     Of course he has made a lot of money and that makes people very jealous. They want to stop his success.
Even the government is against him and has tried to break his company into two parts. The government says
that it is unfair to other people who want to sell similar software. And what's more, because he fits his new

programs. This is not fair. Everyone should be able to do what they can to make their company bigger and
