One possible version:
I am a 10-year-old boy in a village. I had eye problems when I was a little kid. My parents were very poor and we couldn’t afford to go to hospital. I couldn’t go to school either. My life seemed sad and hopeless. Things changed two years ago. One day,some ORBIS doctors came to my hometown. After learning about my illness,they gave me an operation. The operation was very successful. Since then I can see again and I can go to school. My life is more meaningful than before.
I am grateful to ORBIS. I also want to join in charity work to help people in need when I grow up. I believe giving is happier than receiving.
