One day in the morning, a little girl made her daily trip to school on foot though there were many dark clouds in the sky. When school was over, the little girl walked home carrying nothing in her hands. On the way home, winds blew hard and rain poured down.

The mother worried that her daughter would be scared because of flashes lightening (闪电) . The mother drove to her daughter’s school in a hurry. On the way home, the mother saw the little girl walking alone in the rain. When a flash of lightning came, the little girl stopped, looked up and smiled. Another followed. The little girl stopped, looked up and smiled. A third came. The little girl stopped, looked up and smiled. With the coming of the following flashes of lightning, the little girl repeated the same thing.

After the little girl got into the car, the mother wondered why she stopped, looked up and smiled when lightening came. Wearing a bright smile, replied the girl, “Mom, when a flash of lightening came, I felt a bit scared. Seeing this, God would take a picture of me. I knew he was playing an interesting game with me to drive away my fear (恐惧). ”
