Then he tried the back door but it was locked, too. He decided to climb in through the kitchen window in order not to wake up his wife and children . But suddenly , a big black dog came at him from behind. Mr White was both frightened and surprised, he didn't own a dog! He was at the wrong house! The poor man was even move tired after he had much difficulty making the police believe that he wasn't a thief.
