It included people and trading goods from different areas. All these peoples travelled the Silk Road, and they shared goods, stories, languages. and cultures.

In modern times, the old Silk Road routes（路线） are still used, but now they are crossed by trains instead of camels and horses. There is even a Silk Route Museum in Jiuquan in China. It has over 35,000 objects from all along the Silk Road. In this way, China protects the history of many countries and peoples.

If you want to feel happier, do something nice for someone. You can help a friend with his or her studies, go shopping to get food for an old neighbor, or simply help around the house.

In modern society, living without money sounds almost impossible. However, that’s exactly what an Australian couple from a big city has been doing for nearly a whole year.

Rachel Newby, 25, and Liam Culbertson, 27, have come up with creative ways of making it through the year without spending any money. They built themselves a new house.
