Do you know any famous rabbits？One of the best?known rabbits is Miffy. Dutch artist Dick Bruna created her in 1955 in a picture book.

During a rainy and windy holiday，Bruna began to write a story to keep his young son happy. Soon，the first 12?page picture book was made，and the world welcomed Miffy，the rabbit.

Since then，kids from all over the world have gone on a journey with Miffy. Miffy has been in 118 books.

So what makes her such a popular rabbit？Maybe it comes from her simple style(简洁的风格)．She has long ears，two dots for her eyes，and a cross(十字)for her mouth. The simple style makes it easy for children to draw themselves.

“I spend a lot of time making my drawings as simple as possible，” said Bruna to Junior magazine.“I leave lots of space (空间) for children's imagination…That is the strength(力量)of simplicity.”
