 Mr Jones liked to be comfortable. So whenever he took a train,he used to  put his  suitcase  on the seat next to him and pretend that it belonged to a friend who had gone to  buy  s  1        in  the station.

One day,Mr Jones did the same when the train was very c 2       .  At  last,when  all the empty seats were t 3       ，an old man got on,looked at the suitcase and asked, “Does anybody sit here?”

“Yes,” said Mr Jones. “It belongs to my friend who has gone to buy some cigarettes. He should be b 4       here soon. ” And he looked out of the window,pretending that he was w 5       about his friend.

“All right,” said the old man. “I’ll just sit here until your friend r 6       ，if you don’t mind. ”

Mr Jones could not say anything,particularly when the other passengers were 1 7
