Model United Nations (MUN模拟联合国) offers a fantastic program to the youth worldwide. She exchanged ideas with student delegates from other countries. They worked hard to find solutions to the world's development and human rights problems.
Zhou Kexin survived three rounds of Model UN competitions including an English language test, a prepared speech, and a group discussion before she reached the final. It was her excellent English, critical (批判的) thinking and communicative skills that made her stand out from the other 1,600 Shenzhen contestants. In the final held on January 15th, Kexin managed to become one of the top prize winners. This meant she got a free ticket to a ten-day trip to the UN Headquarters in New York and finally became a teenage diplomat.
