The Train Ride-143 Years Later!

  The year was 1839. Vice (副……) President Richard M.. Johnson was in New York City on his way to Philadelphia. He was expected(希望) at a meeting at 6:30 that evening. When did he begin his trip?   Project Hope(希望工程),a national charity(慈善机构)that helps young children who have left school in poor areas(地区)return to school, is now changing its focus(中心,工作重心)from villages to cities.Because more children of laid-off workers(下岗职工)have had to give up their studies.
