Da Vinci, Leonardo

Leonardo da Vinci (1452-519) was an Italian painter, inventor, musician, engineer and scientist.

Da Vinci was born in the countryside. From an early age, he showed great intelligence and artistic ability. As he grew older, he learnt to do many different things. A mouse was surprised and frightened to discover that the farmer and his wife had a mousetrap(老鼠夹）in the house. It ran to warn everyone, “There is a mousetrap in the house!” and wanted to get some help from them.

The hen raised its head and said, “Mr. Mouse, this mousetrap is only for you. The farmer had to kill the pig to feed them. But the wife didn’t get better and died. Her friends came and the farmer had to kill the cow to feed all of them.
