Archie was a busy boy with busy dreams. His dreams were full of fun. His great imagination kept on going in the day. And Archie always came up with exciting ways to play. One day he built a go-kart that he dreamed up at night. He got his friends in it together, and they loved the exciting ride. He loved to try his dream out. He dreamed of an amusement park——the best and the biggest one. But when he told his friend, they said he would never make it real. They said it was much too difficult to make the dream come true. “Get a normal job. That’s what is the best for you,” his friend said.
So Archie joined the fire group to save people from harm. It was a good job, but it wasn’t Archie’s dream.
Archie thought about his dream. His biggest problem was that he doubted it himself. His life was not happy when his dream was placed aside. Then he made up his mind to believe in himself. He knew it would be difficult, but he would do his best to make his dream come true. He built great roller coasters(过山车)and a fancy restaurant and so on. When all the work was finished, people came from everywhere. They loved the things there. Archie succeeded.
A dream is worth(值得) believing even when no one else believes in it. You are always closest to your dreams when you believe in yourself.
