In recent years, some students hold big birthday parties to celebrate their birthdays. I think this may bring some problems.
First, they spend a lot of money. The students from poor families will feel worried, for they can’t afford an expensive birthday party. Second, they waste a lot of time in celebrating activities. It’s bad for their study. Third, it’s easier for some students to get into the bad habit of smoking and drinking.
I think it’s the right way for us to celebrate our birthdays by giving paper cards as birthday presents. As students, we should spend our money and time on study.
