 The Dragon Boat Festival (or Duanwu Festival in Chinese) is on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. It is a day to remember the great poet Qu Yuan who was a loyal (忠诚的) official in the State of Chu in ancientChinaand deeply loved by his people.

  I sat at my seat waiting for the school paper to be passed around. I waited anxiously,knowing that once I received it I would know how good a writer I really was.
