A frightening incident took place Sunday night on a plane. According to reports, the United Airlines overbooked (超额预订) the flight, so they asked passengers to give up four tickets so that four United Airline staff (工作人员) could take the seats. The airline first looked for volunteers. They offered $400 for anyone who agreed to leave the flight, then increased to $800 and a hotel stay, but no passengers would give up their seat.
