My parents were away for a whole week. They were visiting my grandparents in a city almost 200 kilometers away. 1.How wonderful! I could do everything by myself. I could cook and use the washing machine. I told my parents I would remember to lock the door when I went out. 2.But something wrong did happen! I was watching television one night when the screen suddenly went black. When I checked, I found that the lights would not work either. 3. There was no electricity!

It was too late at night to do anything, so I went to bed and waited till the morning. 4.My mum told me to take the electricity card to the bank and buy some electricity. I did as my mum told me. When I got back home, I put the card into the electricity meter (电表) and the electricity started working again.
